Committees which sprung up at Cambridge, Liverpool, Ipswich
Brighton, Manchester, Aberdeen, Yarmouth & Birmingham thro'
whom they circulated their reports, and received considerable
pecuniary assistance. They at the same time opened communications
with the continental committees of Switzerland &
Germany, and with that of France, which has lately become
exceedingly vigorous having associated many of the
most distinguished men in that country, and obtained
an invesm contributions of large sums of money. The Greek Committee
transfer to that cannot but extend their most cordial good wishes & confident hopes
that the union of so much talent &experience power will have a
most important influence on the future path situation lot of Greece.
In the progress of their labors the Greek Committee
from time to time availed themselves of the assistance of
their members & of other gentlemen, in order to obtain
for the Greek government such information as might
be most important both for political, & statistic, military
& naval objects – they have furnished their plans for
their suggestio campaign – suggestions of improvement in
the arts of war – details to enable them to regulate
their finances – they have frequently forwarded them
of services which they deemed worthy their attention
