The Polish language appears in the first Polish
authori writings as those of Rey of Nazlowic
and Kochanowski, in its manlihood
and established as to the idiom and grammar.
In the manuscript and monument before that
period it is vaccilating as to the choice of
words which though not unintelligible were
frequently approaching to the root primitive roots
of the Sclavonic: and the w vaccilating also
as to the forms of declension, conjugation;
and arthog particularly arthography: which
was adopted from the Bohemians and obtruded
the language with consonants. The many
consonants in the Polish language therefore
are but a proof of his harshness, but only a proof
a proof of of the difficulties the Poles had in adopting the
foreign letters for expressing the sounds
of the awa language Sclavonic languages
The consonants are swallowed up in one sound:
as we do in English with our vowels.
