Persons burnt in England for denying the Doctrine of the Trinity
A.D. 1759. Matthew Hamant for execrable Herisce Blasphemy
(not fit to repeat) against St & the holy ghost, & denying their
Deity, & the use of Baptism & Sacraments in the Church. He was
condemned on the 13 Apl. by the Bishop of Norwich as an Haretic
& on the 20 May burned publicly in the Castle; his ears being first
Cut off in the market place for horrible blasphemy as the Queen.

was burned at Norwich
