In the thick-woods shade
The wild beast retires:
Even where the characters
And with the (linnets) Zanking
Long have the sperons
Made their safe retreat.

'Tis easily to follow the chariot
That fortune is driving:
Even like the well-arranged train
On the road newly-scattered
B When a Monarch is just gone before

But who is that yonder?
His path he hath lost in the grove
Behind him the branches
Beat and gainst
The grass grows beneath him
The desert devours him.
