5. The aforesaid £27,000 to be paid by instal ment
viz: £10,000 immediately on signing of this agreement,
£10,000 in three months from the date thereof;
and £7,000 so soon as the Proposer shall turn by
and have declared himself in readiness to receive the
prisoners.
6. The aforesaid £12,000 to be paid half-yearly
viz: £6,000 on the commencement of the first half
year, and £6,000 on the commencement of the second.

8. The Proposer engages to take upon himself the
whole expense of the buildings and of whatever
else is necessary to adapt the ground in question
to the purpose
7. The Proposer is to be at, liberty allowed to employ the
prisoners for his own benefit, and to cater to himself
the whole produce of their labour.
8. No convict On the a to be delivered to the Proposer
under this agreement whose term of confinement has not two years to
run at the least.
On the above terms he engages as follows.
