134 To insure to the Prisoners an honest and sufficient a livelyhood at the expiration
of their terms , the Proposer off engages to
take into his pay at the a rate not less than 1- 1/-d &
a day , exclusive of f lodging , washing and firing every Pris such prisoner who shall be able
and willing to accept thereof, and [diligently according]endeavour]
to his ability & Duly serve according to his power with ordinary <add>due diligence and fertility duly endeavour</add> to earn the same ; and so for as long
as he shall continue able to labour and willing as aforesaid:
Government paying the same of £5 for the cloathing
and out-fitting of every such p discharged prisoner.
14. Provided always that should in the case of
every such prisoner as may happen to be discharged
as aforesaid without having been under the care
of the proposer for so long time as a year , as
much more shall be paid upon his discharge as when
added to what was used for his maintenance
during his confinement shall make the sum of £12.
15. To make himself personally responsible his
inducements the more cogent , & to bind his attention the more forcibly for
giving the utmost efficacy
in his power</del> to the reformatory part of his managements,
by finding use for the prisoner and and even make amends in most instances for any
accident of its failure , he engages to pay a sum
of money for every prisoner convicted of a felony committed after the <add>is</add>
