Art. 20. To bind the attention of the said
Jeremy Bentham and his said Successors the
more forcibly to the reformatory part of the
management of the said intended Penitentiary
House, and even make amends in most instances
for any accident of its failure, it is
hereby further moreover agreed that a sum of money
shall be paid on the conviction of every
such prisoner of a felony committed after
his escape or discharge in the event of any
such prisoners committing any felony after
his discharge, that a sum of money there shall be
paid by the said Jeremy Bentham or his said
successors on the conviction of such felon a
sum of money [+] [+] applicable to the indemnification of the party or parties damnified by such feloney injured and eventuallly and the amount of such indemnification money eventually encreasing according to the
number of full years during which the such
felon shall have been made their the care of
the said intended Governors: to wit a sum
equal in amount to the value of damage by the injury
from such felony, provided that the same such payment
except that the same shall not exceed £5, should such felon should
have been one full year under the care of such
intended Governors : £10, if two years; £15 if
