Called again at Mr White's — found him in the
Office with his Clerks.

Mr B. Well, Sir, have you been able to see the
Atty Genl yet about this business of mine

Mr White. No — I have not.

Mr B. Can you guess, when you shall be able to
see him about it?

Mr White. Perhaps in the course of next week.

Mr B. That is a long time to look forward to —
the business surely can not require seems short
and simple enough —

Mr White That may be : but this is not the only
business I have to do with the Atty General.

Mr B. I hope at any rate it will be early
in the week.

Mr White. I shall see.
