Know all men by these presents that I Jeremy
Bentham of Lincolns Inn Esquire am held and
firmly bound unto our Sovereign Lord the King
in the present sum of thousand Pounds of
good and lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to
our said Lord the King his heirs and successors
For which payment to be well and truly made I
bind myself by these presents Sealed with my
dated this day of in the thirty sixth
year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France
and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so
forth and in the year of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and ninety five.
