Letter 3d

On comparing duties — the date of these ta American
reformers with the date of the present mention of them,
in observati the story it may be said is an old
one: the facts are stale: we have been in possession
of them for these six years.
In possession of them
yes, my Lord: in possession of them we have been
all of us, high and low: but who has profited by
them? Above Who (have profited by them| so far as to do
any thing? in consequence: below who (among us below, who
has profited by any thing that has been
done. them] so <add>far as to see any thing</add> + + Not in possession of Eddy, nor the fact of the copying in other places.

But whatever may be the force or the use of the
observation, what it applies to is includes <add>comprises</add> but a part of the
examples experience I have taken the liberty to bring to view.
