A sham Contrast, converting the naval servant of the Crown into
an independent merchant, and doing that by a which in other the fair and natural course of the service would have
been done by orders +

In another place I may have occasion to submitt shew
to Your Lordship, [+] [+] and on distinct grounds that every thing that has the powers power that
has been exercised over the Convicts there after the expiration
of their respective terms, have been exercised
without and against law. Already, or I am much
mistaken, the same illegality appears has been proved to attach upon the
powers exercised over them during the continuance of
such their terms. If this be just, true in this respect <add>point of view</add> the power of
consistency can scarcely be refused to the unhappy
but much favoured project, [how ill soever it may be deserving of any
other praise] how questionable soever may be its title to
