Beginning

Deplorably/Melancholy Lamentable indeed will would be the condition of this country
the character of its public men, if so it should
prove that an attachment to its so much boasted constitution has never
been professed but with some narrow mischievous and factitious view:
and that a more than ordinary zeal for the preservation of it this treasure has never been
displayed/produced but by a secret professed, but in the hope of changing it.
