Tothill Fields Estimate
Ground: if as much were he of the
Gardens Meadow were taken as of the
Gardeners Ground this would of
£1320: but it is imagined that it will
not be easy to get so much of the Meadow
Land or of the Gardener's ground: and as there
will may be a compensation to make for the
Houses belonging to the Gardeners Grounds,
and for prompt quitting the premises, and
for such crops and plants the as can not be
carried off, the expence can not scarcely be set
at less than if so little as the above.
Additional expences
Inclosing and draining
the portion of Tothill
Fields: the ground spot originally
allotted to the Penitentiary Establishment
being ground already inclosed and
in high culture with Orchard Trees
Timber Trees and other articles and other Trees & plants that could
not be carried off by the Tenant.
Removing the Old Poor House called
the Five Chimneys (consisting of 8 Tenements
occupied by so many families)
according to the provisions of the
Tothill Fields Division and Inclosure
Bill.
