Clause for owners to
repair in Case Conrs
Paviors neglect.

of the sd Conrs., to whence such order shall be given shall not within
Days next after the Receipt thereof repair the sd defective
Pavement; then & in every such case, the sd Contràcter or Pavior
shall forfeit & pay the Sum of for every Day that the sd
defective Pavement shall remain unrepaired after the Expiration
of the sd Days.

That it shall & maybe lawful to & for yrds Conrs from
time to time to yrds Squares Streets &c to be cleansed
and to cause such & so many Lamps to be set up therein

necessary; and yrsd Conrs shall order & Direct at what
Time for lighting

Times as the sd Conrs shall think fit to order & Direct by
writing under their hands & seal or the Hands & seals of
or more of them be made laid & assisted, upon
all & every Person or Persons who do or shall dictate, hold
occupy Possess or enjoy any Land, House, Shops, Warehouse.
Cellar, Vault, or other Tenement, within the sd City &
Parishes or Places for raising such Sum & Sums
of many as yrsd Conrs shall from time to time judge needful
and direct, so as such & deeds or assignments do not in any one
year exceed in the whole the Sum of 21s for every Square
yard belonging to such Land Houses Shops Warehouses
