The parish of S.t Margaret Westminster.
That his Lordship (the Dean) and Prebendaries
present further signified, that their application would
most probably meet with their concurrence, so far as
their Right, Profit and Interests therein extended.
With respect to the Common and herbage of the
Said feilds they were therefore desirous that communication
might be made to the Vestries of the
aforesaid United Parishes for them to take the
same into consideration, so far as the interests of
those parishoners whom they represent may be
affected by the intended application, at the same
time observing, that in case of their stipulating
for a proper remuneration, and waving any resistance
to the measure, an opportunity might
Offer, for their having a convenient allotment
of Ground assigned to them, whereon to build a
Workhouse for the Poor of the said Parishes
That they should hold a Chapter on Wednesdays
the 16 instant, on their own business, but if the
Vestries should wish to see them on this particular
Matter they would then be ready to receive them.
When this report was made by Mr Drake
it was movd that the Vestries should adjourn
until Tuesday the Fifteenth instant and
that the same should be then taken into
Consideration.
