The Estate at Milbank, late the property of the Marquis of Salisbury,
having been purch (under and by virtue of the
Statute of the 7th of July 1794 being the 84th Chapter
of the of the Act of the 34th year of his Majesty's
Reign) Chapter 84, been purchased by me as Feoffee thereof by
authority of the Lords Commissioners of his Majesty's
Treasury, for the purpose of the intended Penitentiary Estabishment
therein mentioned –
And it having decreed necessary by the
said Lordships that the several rights and interests
of all such persons as are occupiers of the
said premises or any part thereof be made over
to me this said Feoffee as upon my making
such satisfaction to them respectively in money
or otherwise, as shall to and under the
direction of their said Lordships appear reasonable
or in the case of a disappointment, such satisfaction
shall be have been awarded awarded by a Jury according
to the provision made in that behalf in and by
the said Act.
And having an my application made by
me for instructions to their Lordship's Sollicitor,
received from him as his opinion that the
surrender demanded too be required if to be made of
such or by the said several occupiers of the
said several rights and interests, ought to be absolute
and immediate.
