March ye 9th1800.
Sir
Having received a written warning from you this day I take the
liberty of letting you know what a disadvantage I shall be put to –
by a removal as my bread depends so much by the water side – it may be
some time before I may be so comfortably settled again – that ten pounds is so
little as it will be out of my pocket this summer by changing my place of
abode – Sir in hopes you will take this into your worthy consideration
I remain your obedient Servant
John Reed.
