all along depended on my continuance in my present situation
in which I have been established these twenty Years and in
which (tho' my term in my Lease has no more than 3¾
Yrs to sum) I had every reason to expect I should be permitted
to continue, and having no connections or other means of introduction
into any other place; and having three Children besides
our helpless and aged Mother to maintain I humbly hope
I shall not be thought unreasonable in claiming in addition
to the particular demands abovementioned as a compensation
