Estimate of the damage that will be sustained
by me Mary Fortay Widow, Occupier
of the Public House called the Ship
at Milbank Westminster, in the event of my
being obliged,⊞ ⊞ in virtue of a Notice from Government dated of March 18 the of this instant March 1800, to quit my possession of the
same together with the my interest in certain other premises thereto adjoining, and held under the same Lease, all of them being
parcel of the Estate late belonging to the Marquis
of Salisbury at Milbank aforesaid.

The Lease was granted by Mr Henry Foley,
the immediate tenant to the Marquis of Salisbury
to Mr Benjamin Hodges, as Executor to my
late Husband John Fortay (to whom I succeeded
in the occupation of the said Public House) and
Trustee for me

.

The Commencement of the said Lean is on the 24 June 1793
The Expiration thereof is on the 25 Decr 1803
The Duration of the Original Term is Years 10 1/2
Term remai which will remain unexpired
on the 25th of this instant March, being the day
on which I am required to quit in virtue
of the said Notice – Years 3 3/4

I. Loss in respect of the said Pubic House
Laid out and expended in the the erection of a Brick Building in part
and as a Tea and Tap Room, in front of my said House, viz: between the path leading thereby
and the Water side, which Building was finished
on or about the 25 Decr 1793 – £

Number of years, which under the said Lease I
should have had had it not been for the Government Notice to reimburse myself for that expense – 10
