his House and Premises situate on Millbank aforesaid. Given to him by
Jeremy Bentham Esqr.. – Dated 6th March 1800.

The said Joseph Watson occupies a House on Millbank aforesaid
which he lets out in ready furnished Lodgings & by being deprived of his
House he will be under the obligation of disposing of his goods to a very

A considerable disadvantage and loss will be incurred in his Bsuiness
as a Ligherman & will very probably be the means of his losing
his present situation of employment for he being so conveniently situate

which continue sometimes for a Week or Fortnight he could move his
Barge opposite his own Habitation and there keep the necessary
Watch himself with saftety over his employers property which he
otherwise could not have done but must have been under the necessity
of paying some person for such duty being now deprived of that
priviledge he conceives it a loss to him of much more than is here
demanded of ..... } 10:0:0 £25..5..0

This is my demand dated 11th March 1800
(Signed) Jos. Watson.
