§.
Breach of faith 3rd Mr Wise's Land
Mar 19 1799 June 19 1800
8 Mar 1800
No disposition, towards proceeding in the business, was (to
my apprehension at least) expressed: and as the reasons, such
as they are, that were given, for not having done any thing
as yet, were such as apply equally to the not doing any
thing at all, it seemed necessary for me to make this
my humble Report to Mr Secretary of the Treasury, that
whatever is proper may be done. (c)
Observation
Of course nothing at all was done.

In my unnoticed Letter of the 8th instant I stated
to you Mr Harrison's undissembled disobedience to your
reference respecting the valuation of Mr Wise's Ground. To
Mr Wise's Agent he has since been more explicit. Their
Lordships had expressed no desire .... he did not expect
they would .... and till they didm nothing would be
done. —

After this notification, your answer, Sir, or your
