Answer. The ba What concerns the building being not if the
question (as per Answer to Question 1 out of the question, as to

I can not at present Should it be the pleasure of the
Committee to make give a correspondent recommendation
to the Treasury, I should be ready and willing to undertake
the superintendence of the number before agreed upon (viz. to wit
£1000 Male Prisoners: viz. upon terms not at all varying in such as should not vary
reality at all in substance, and in language varying should vary no otherwise than by
the substitution of the real present value of the sum in question then since first
agreed upon viz £12 a head to that value which by the rise of prices
is become no longer real than but nominal. Merely for
illustration, I say £18 illustration let us take a certain sum for an uncertain and say £20. Whether any such
given sum (viz (£18 or £20) money of the present day 29 March
1811 would go further than in the purchase of food or in the purchase of necessaries articles in question
measure of such as are in question in the Contract go further than just as far as
or not so far as or further than the £12 money of that day
August 1794 1795 is a question which there is not (I suppose) a
single gentleman in the Committee but is who is not at the moment is not better qualified to find give
