In the providing of this receptacle I should be hoping
in the assistance of any one Gentleman whom the Committee
or any other authority recommended by the Committee, would
be pleased to name: indeed I should not be willing
to undertake the business without some such assistance.

unable to reconcile myself to, I should be at liberty to exempt
myself from the responsibility of.
