Memorial

That by the first Sections 1 & 3 of the said Act to
which your Memorialist humbly begs leave to refer
your Lordships for particulars powers are given
to your Lordships in the first plan for making choice of ground
for the said purpose and appointing a Feofee
or Feoffees for the by whom and in whose name the purchase thereof should be made, and
in the or end plan for contracting with any person
or person for the erection of a any number of Penitentiary Houses
as also by and afterwards for the nomination of a Governor
or Governors thereof of such Houses when erected.

The object of this Memorial is therefore
humbly to pray your Lordships that your
1. That your Lordships would be pleased as well in execution as well of the
said Act, as in pursuance of the treaty aforesaid
be pleased to and that with as much spee dispatch
as his Majesty's service may will admitt, be pleased
That from upon the faith of the said
Treaty your Memorialist pleased to appoint
pleased to take the requisite measures for bringing the conducting the said treaty to a conclusion
give authority to pursue the said treaty aforesaid: and
2. that in the mean time to make appointment of
and before the without waiting for the such conclusion Your Lordships to make appointment of
Memorialist as in quality of such Feoffee of the land aforesaid
for the purpose of making purchase obtaining possession of the land aforesaid
under the said Act: 3. to that without waiting
for the execution of the said treaty to take take the make
application requisite means for obtaining his for his Majesty's signa most gracious
