have already expended upwards of £6,000

That your Memorialists said Brother having
now for three years and upwards of three years in compliance with the said sollicitations absented
himself from the service of the said Empress
hath at length lost, his provision the provision made
employment command for him in that service of the being the command
in quality of Colonel of a Regiment of 2200 men consisting composed of two
Battallions of each of which the command of me either of which
would have been a situation of more advantage as well in point of pecuniary emolument as of authority than the command of a Regiment in his Majesty's service.
