That in as much as no compensation reimbursement can
ever be obtained for by him for any the said expence
or any part thereof untill long after
the building for the reception of such prisoners
shall have been erected, your Memorialist
as well in consideration thereof as out
of of his zeal for the public service has been
induced to give order for the casting of such
part the iron work of which a very considerable
principal part of the said extended structure
will be composed, and such order to the amount
of several thousand pounds as said has for some time been executing:
of which expence unless speedy measures are shall be
taken by your Lordships for his relief, the
burthen must fall upon your Memorialist
to the great injury and to say of his
private fortune.
That notwithstanding any the utmost dispatch which your
Lordships may find it in your power and may
be pleased to give your Memorialist has the
mortification of observing upon looking
over the said recent Act has the mortification
