Nothing, as your Memorialist once for all at the outset begs leave
to assure your Lordships once for all, nothing
Nothing could be more repugnant to the principles
or habits of your Memorialist than to treat with lively or
indifference the sentiments or affections feelings affections of parts of any
inhabitants of the neighbourhood individual who may apprehend have conceived
by affected and himself prejudiced by the choice,
and in particular to the of the very reputable gentlemen on
whose part those apprehensions have manifested themselves
have in his estimation, sensations of this sort, by whatever cause excited, have, in proportion to their
energy, an equal claim to attention and deference.
Your Memorialist is indeed free to confess that in the present were he
instance in the situation of those gentlemen he himself
no such apprehensions would have as far as he can judge been have upon the an an occasion like the present found their way into his
breast. But he is far, very far, and he trusts always
will be from any such harbouring any such unreasonable
and arrogant pretension as to call upon the gentlemen
