That Your Memorialist, having in and by the
aforesaid Notices, received a fresh and more public
information of the disposition Your Lordships were
pleased some time ago to manifest, to the Committee
of the Honourable the House of Commons sitting
on the subject of Finance, (as appears by a letter
from Mr Secretary Long printed in the Appendix
of the twenty-eighth Report of the said Committee)
viz. the disposition to carry into effect, as soon
as the difficulties respecting the procurement of ground
can be removed, the Contract so many years depending
between Your Lordships are authorized
and required to do by the said Act, he himself
collect upon, at this conjuncture, to address himself
to Your Lordships for the purpose of harming
Your Lordship's pleasure in relation to the course
now to be taken for the carrying the aforesaid dispersion
into effect.
It is in this view that Your Memorialist begs
have humbly to submitt to Your Lordships the
following propositions, viz:
That, inasmuch as the said intended Establishment
could not be debased from the all-along-intended
communication with the River Thames and
vicinity to the Metropolis, without great and incalculable
disadvantage, as well to the establishment itself,
as to Your Memorialist in respect thereof, it may
