A new and peculiarly eligible situation.

In this age of philosophical research and in
so eminent a school of Chemical knowledge as
is possessed by Edinburgh there must probably
be a number of young men who ha to a compleat
medical education add a taste for chemistry
as a pursuit both in the character of an amusing
science and in that of a source of profit
in its application to an infinity of branches
of manufacture: at the same time that the expence
attending any enlarged plan of chemical experiment operation
render in the pursuit occupation an object rather
of regret than expectation hope. To any person gentleman
of character so inclined a singular opportunity
happens now to present itself is here presented. A situation which
will afford him in possession a genteel and
comfortable maintenance: but his chance of accumulating
a fortune must depend upon a share
of any such lucrative concerns processes as may be carried
on at his suggestion or with his assistance,
for it will be expected of him that he give up all
prospect right of private practise.
