1st or 2d Now transmitted officially
to the Treasury by the
Rt Hon. H. Dundas
then Secry. for the War
Department he having
been Secretary for the Home
Department at the time of
the transactions spoken of.

Memorial
Stating the damage which the
Memorialist had even then incurred
by the pecuniary advances
to the amount of £6,000 and upwards
(since then doubled) without
having received any part
of the £20,000 upon the assurance
of which they were partly
made, partly transferred from another
object: viz: a manufactory
of unexampled extent and promise
which thereby has been destroyed.
