Morning Chronicle Tuesday Feby. 15th. Copy of the Advertisements

To the Architects and Others. A Premium
of £200 will be paid to the Architect, or other
Person, who shall present the most approved Design
for a Penitentiary House, to be erected for the
purpose of Confining, Employing, & Reforming
Transportable Offenders. Two other Premiums
of 100£ and 50£ respectively will also be paid
for two other Designs for such a Building, which
although not approved, may appear to be the
next in merit. Further particulars with respect
to the number of Offenders to be contained in
such a Building, and other necessary information,
may be learnt by applying to the
State Paper Office, in Scotland Yard, where
a Plan of the Ground may be seen. —
