Having stated the several of the thus brought to view the
said several proposed purchases, together with the proceedings
that have respectively been had in relation to
the same Your Memorialist to pay pave
the way for this his humble application whatever for the
determination of Your Lordships in respect thereof, begs leave to recapitulate the contents of
the said purchases, distinguishing the clear contents
from the gross contents, but comprizing in the clear
contents certain portions thereof to the amount of several
acres which being converted into Ditches are inapplicable
to any profitable or otherwise beneficial, purpose –
1. Ld Salisbury Estate already purchased –
Gross Content A.R.P. A.R.P. 53. 2: 14
Deduct, as occupied partly by the Bank
or Water Wall, with the Public Footway
thereupon, partly by a private Carriage
Road, and which though parcel of the said
Estate is subject to divers rights of
way way which can not be bought
in; both which parcels of land are
in heavy productive of a considerable and constant expence, instead of being a
yielding a profit to the owners of the
said Estate – A.R.P. 1: 3: 9 83:2.
Remains Clear Content – 51: 3: 5.
2. Lot A in the Map being the proposed portion of
Tothill Fields –
Gross Content not estimated but say
the same as the clear – 35: 0: 0
Clear Content – 35: 0: 0
