11 Mr. Bentham's Memorial --

Of the said quantity of 112 Acres, 35 Acres are in a state of
absolute Waste: many Acres thereof being constantly covered with
Water, and requiring to be drained, as well as the whole thereof to
be fenced.

Under the circumstances, Your Memorialist humbly sibmitts,
whether the said total number of 112 Acres, should the completion thereof
prove at any time to be attainable, would be excessive.

In the event of its being Your Lordships pleasure, that the

said intended Contract should be signed, and the said building
be begun to be erected on the said Salisbury Estate, without waiting
for the appropriation of the said 35 Acres of Waste — Your Memorialist
begs leave further to submitt to Your Lordships, whether, by way of temporary
or provisional indemnification, in respect of the deficiency thence
arising in the said quantity of Ground, it might not be reasonable,
and conformable to the spirit of the treaty between Your Lordships and
Your Memorialist, that an advance should be made to Your Memorialist,
adequate to the purchase of such deficient quantity of Ground: (f)

the quantum of such intended purchase money, to be computed at the
same rate per acre, as in the case of the purchase already made, of the
said Salisbury Estate; such sum to be applied — either to the purchase
of the said 35 Acres of Waste, if, within any reasonable space of time
the same shall be obtainable, or to the purchase of any such other
parcel or parcels of Ground, contiguous or near adjacent to the said
already made purchase, as may, within such reasonable space of
time, be conveniently to be purchased, under the powers of the said
existing Act: the surplus of such intended purchase-money (should
