immediately of the Landlord, or of any intermediate
Tenant, Your Memorialist (still for the same purpose
- of reducing the charges of indemnification) took
upon him to avail himself, of the short interval
that remained before quarter day — viz: the 25th of
last Month (March 1800) — for the giving and
causing to be given such Notices, in virtue whereof,
by the end of the half Year commencing on the
said 25th of March — viz: by the 29th of September next
(1800) — the several rights and interests concerned will
be extinguished gratis, according to the rules of the
common law: — that, by means of such notices so
given, the charge of indemnification, in the said
several instances, should possession come to be taken
thereof respectively at the public expence, before the
said 29th of September next, is daily growing less
and less — without expence to the public — by lapse
of time: — that, with respect to a part — (though
it is, and for some time will be, absolutely impossible
for Your Memorialist to say precisely what
part) — of the said Estate, the claims for such
indemnification may thus be extinguished gratis: —
that the said several extinctions — being effected,
either by lapse of time, or by absolute sacrifices
made by Your Memorialist — will all be
effected
