25 Jany 1812

The worthy Baronet thus for the purpose of conviction
constituted Judge with what sort of temper he entered
upon office may be seen already before six lines are at
an end – The subject of the question is an Act of Parliament
viz. that of the 19th Geo. 3. C. 74. Full of the purpose
for which he had been called in – unable to run
in his impatience the scarce one two short sentences elapsed
before he digresses from the Act, to attack the author
of the Comment that had been made upon it.
