should be paid only sunk in a Penitentiary House
seems for making capital plenty

When? at when will the optics of public men be
so far expended, as to enable them to see contain the two sides
of a case.

Lest ma subsistence should be too cheap and
population too abundant year after year per sev
public money was lavished in the endeavour to wean
the good people of Ireland from potatoes, by persuading
them and enabling them and compelling them to eat wheat:
and, as if Wheat, which had been purchased, by the sacrifice
of so much greater a real value in the shape of potatoes
had been created out of nothing, credit was taken for every
grain of wheat that had been forced into the Irish market
by those means: at this expence: and this was the policy of the same
school, the recipe of which, for making capital more plenty,
was to prevent men from giving for the use of it so much
as they were accustomed to give and would be glad to
give for it.
