Queen's Square Place Westminster 23 March 1812

Whereas in and by a Bill now depending on the
House of Commons for the Erection of a Penitentiary House
a clause is contained for providing compensation for certain
claims of ours by two Arbitrators to be named one on the
part of the Lords Commissioners of the Majesty Treasury
the other by on the part of us the undersigned this is to certify to all
whom it may concern that, with the consent of (as we
understand) of The Honourable William Pleydel Bouverie
commonly called Lord Viscount Folkestone, we have agreed
to nominate and be hereby nominate the said Lord
Folkestone to act as Arbitrator on our part on the
occasion and for the purpose aforesaid.
