2. Amendment the 2d
Bill Page 3, line 13. After "above" out insert
omitt the remainder of that line, the whole of lines 14 15, 16 and 17
and in line 18 down to the word Bentham inclusive: and in lieu thereof
insert – And whereas for the purpose of settling all questions
between the public on the one part and the said
Jeremy and Samuel Bentham on the other part
the arising out of the said Agreement or intended Agreement said Lords Commissioners have nominated
and with the consent of the Right Honourable
George have nominated the said George
and the said Jeremy and Samuel Bentham
on their part with the consent of the Honourable William Pleydell-Bouverie Esquire commonly called Lord Viscount
Folkstone have nominated the said William Pleydell-Bouverie.
Be it therefore enacted that for the purpose
aforesaid the said George and the said William
Pleydell-Bouverie shall be and are hereby declared to be joint
Arbitrators.
