If such be the difficulty where it is only one no more
than two persons, one on each side, add the case of a confederacy conspiracy, and are parties, the difficulty
now is seen to be capable of receiving an indefinite encrease.
By confederacy among with one another, or under the direction of
a single rule or otherwise powerful individual, persons
in any number might engross the use of the press, or
even of several presses: and thus exclude debar the objects or object of their the attack from all faculty
means of self-defence. the person or persons

That to any individual to whom it shall happen
to suppose an aspiration to have been cast in upon his character
by the of the press, faculty of adequate means of defence
through the same medium should in every case instance
be secured, is absolutely impossible.
