To Ld Sidmouth
2. That if, for that purpose the producing of this saving determination in question the contents of that Report
should not be deemed sufficient, the requisite satisfaction
may however be produced by the perusal of what
relates to the subject in the 28" Report of the Finance
Committee of 1797-8.
3. If Should that too prove insufficient, this in
that case, and in that case only, should I, have
on my own account, have any need to wish on my to Your Lordship to take any such
trouble as that of looking into any part of the mass of printed matter
herewith sent: and in regard to this it will would
be matter of some surprize to me if of the Observations,
such as they are, which in the recent Report, (First Penitentiary Report ao 1811 above mentioned)

in that some part of or other of those unnoticed papers unnoticed, though
had not called for and delivered papers, would not be found to have received a compleat answer, before it was

pleasure to select for that purpose one or more in particular, declaring
with an intimation that, if in relation to the points so selected,
satisfaction should be afforded, it would be deemed
compleat.
