The uses of the press and consequently of the liberty of the
press are as extensive as the uses of the faculty of discourse.
The abuses of the press are no less so.
Political criticism though a most so important a part extensively
important part is but a small part of those uses.
The abuse of the liberty of political criticism,
though a considerable part, is but a part of those abuses.
It is in the case of the political criticism, it is
in the case where the power operations of the press is are applied to
