Preamble

-venient spot of Ground siituate within any
one or more of the Counties of Middlesex Kent
Essex and Surry And to appoint a Teoffee
or Teoffees for the purpose of puchasing
and holding in perpetual succession such
spot as should be so fixed upon as afford
With powers to enter upon and take
possession of such spot either on conveyance
made thereof from the Owner or
Owners (who for that purpose were thereby
enabled to make such conveyance all
manner of disabilities notwithstanding)
Or in default of such Conveyance on
payment of a sufficient Sum of money
as and for the purchase money the Quantum
thereof in the case of disagreement to
be ascertained by the verdict of a Jury
(compensation being also in the said Act
provided for Tithe Owners and Tenants
in satisfaction for this respective Interests)
And whereas doubts have arisen
whether the provisions in the said Act
made as aforesaid can be deemed to
extend to Land in the state Wastes
subject to rights of Commons
