Roads & Drains

And in case it should then or at any time thereafter
appear to the said Feoffee or Feoffees, and
should also appear on view to any two Justices
of the Peace of the County of MIddlesex, that
any such Way or Ways or any part thereof
or any Way or Ways leading over or by the
side of any other Land which shall also have
been purchased for the purposes of the said
Act of 7 July 1794 ought, for the security Quere which
would be best?
1 to insist this clause
in the Bill originally
2. To have it to be inserted
in the H. of
Commons? or
3. To specify at
once the Roads
wanted to be stopped
up?
or good order of the said intended Penitentiary
House, to be stopped up, on or without
condition of setting out another Way of other
Ways in another part or other part of the said
Lot A of the said Waste or of such other
Lands as aforesaid, it shall and may be
lawful to and for such Justices to make
order for the stopping up of such unnecessary old Way
or Ways, and for the opening and maintaining
such new Way or Ways, if any,
as they shall deem proper to be opened and
maintained in and upon the said Lot A
or any such other Land as aforesaid in
lieu of such Way or Ways so ordered to be
stopped up, in like manner as any order
mightmay be made for the diverting divertingor
