I have the honour of addressing you on the part of the
Treasury, on the subject of a small or piece of land of your's, which
it may eventually be necessary to great public purpose, the Government should
purchase of
Government happens to have occasion for, and which being detached
from the great masses of your property, and having not appearing to possess any quality presenting nothing
that to judge according to appearance from appearances, should tend to recommend it in
any very particular manner to the affection of a proprietor, may
it is hoped, find you not indisposed to part with it for the accommodation
of the public in respect of the above purpose.
