Reasons
3. On the same account, it seems equally
improbable that any application for a similar purpose should
originate with the Parish or Parishes, on
any such terms as this would be thought
proper to be acceded to on the part of the
Dean and Chapter.
4. Even supposing the ill humour to having subsided which for
such a length of time appears to have subsisted
on the part of the Parish or Parishes , and
which appears to have been inflamed by recent
individuals, still this appears to subsist such
a difference in point of real opinion in relation
to the rights in question, as could not be adjusted
without recourse to law.
5. What renders an inflexible pertinacity
on the part of the Parishes a result the more natural
