A disposition to treat was universally expressed
at the Chapter at which I attended have this day been attending ing
provided the alienation were not so few, but only for as long
term such as 1000 years.

Eighty Acres was (the quantity of land allowed
at Battersea Rise) was the quantumquantity of land
allotted under the old system for 900 Prisoners.
This was the quantity I was to have had for the
51 5400 2700 persons above spoken of: being 1/6 1/3 part
only for the quantum proportionable quantityof land per head
under the old system.

What The quantum allowance proposed by the Dean and
Chapter amounts, instead of the whole 80 Acres, to a part
and that but a small part, 1/8th or so, of a spot
of 38 Acres, as the following account will shew —
