lawful for the sd. Gov.r or Gov..rs his or their Workmen or Agents to enter upon
& take possession of the s.d piece or pieces of Ground and every part thereof for the Uses & p—poses of this Act &
thereupon all such p—sons & p—ties as afs.d Owners Occupiers & Tenants respectively shall be divested of all Rights & Title
Possession & Claim of or to the s.d piece or pieces of Ground and Every part thereof

And it be further Enacted That the Lord High Treasurer
or the Comm—rs of the Treasury for the simme being shall Contract & Agree with
the s.d Gov.r or Gov.rs for the erectg. one or more Penitenty. House or Penitenty.
Houses on the s.d piece of Gro.d toger with such o.r Buildg.s & Inclosures as
shall be necessary thereto at the & shall at the Expence of such Gov.r or
Gov..rs or o—rwisw in such manner and under such Terms Conditions Powers Limitations & Restriction as the s.d Ld. High Treasurer or Comm—rs of the Treasury shall
find expedient and shall cause to be enacted in such Contract or Contracts such lawful successary Clauses
Covenants & Agreements as shall be necessary to enforce the Execution of the same within a
time to be therein limited & the Comm & Com—sons to be given to such Governor or Governors</add> & shall superintend or appoint a proper p—son or p—sons to
superintend the erect.n of such house or Houses & Buildg.s & the due performance of
such Contract or Contracts as shall be entered into touchg. the same And the s.d Penitenty
House or Penitenty. Houses shall be made & erected sufficiently large &
commodious to contain such number of Male & Female Convicts or either of
them as the s.d L.d High Treasurer or the Comm—rs of the Treasury shall Contract
for & such Penitenty. House or Penitenty. Houses or the Buildg.s & Inclosures
thereunto belongg. shall contain proper Store Houses, Ware Houses, Work Houses &
