Girls employed
in the Nursery.

Nor would the utility derivable from the system improved nursing
of child-rearing pursued in the Company's Nurseries
be confined within the precincts of the establishments
in which it would be administered. The children girls
brought up in this Nursing school of seminary of instinction the
female Ushers of these Nursing Schools, would if
once the reputation of the Company's management
in this were fixed firmly rooted upon a solid foundation, be
sought for it with avidity in private families
As the expiration of their apprenticeship, the girls
who had been put in possession of this fund of valuable interesting
skill and experience, would find themselves in
possession of a valuable source of livelyhood maintenance. And
this, whatever improvements were made in this
branch of family economy, would be gradually
spread over themselves the country, and take the firmest root.
