Tothill Fields Inclosure Bill

on behalf of the said Dean and Chapter shall be in the Senior Prebend of
the said Chapter and the Right of appointing a new Commissioner or
Arbitrator in behalf of the said Rectory shall be in the succeeding Rector from
and after his Presentation and in the mean time shall be exerciseable by the
Patron for the time being of the said Rectory in the same manner as such
Power might have been exercised by the said Rector.

§. 14.
Powers for Limiting and
stopping up Roads and Drains
which are to be repaired by
the Feoffees. —

And it be further enacted that the said Feoffee or Feoffees shall at
the time of his or their Entering into and upon all or any part of Lot A
for the purpose of taking Possession thereof as aforesaid or within a fortnight
from that time allot and by Stakes or otherwise ascertain and set out such
Public and Private ways as to him or them shall appear to be already
existing in and upon the said several Lots or Portions of the said Waste
called Lots A and B and shall cause a Plan or Survey to be prepared
of the said Lots A and B and thereby mark out and distinguish such
Public and Private ways and shall present the same to some two Justices
of the Peace for the Country of Middlesex for their Approbation, and such
Justices if upon view of the Ground and of such Survey they approve of the
allotment so made of the said ways shall thereupon make an order confirming
the said allotment and such order shall be announced to the said Survey
And that in case at the time of such Entry or at any time afterwards
it shall appear to the said Feoffee or Feoffees for the time being And also
to some two Justices of the Peace for the Country of Middlesex upon a
view to be taken by them that any such way or ways or any part
thereof or any Way or Ways leading over or by the side of any other Land
which shall have been purchased for the purposes of the said Act of the
7th July 1794 ought for the Security or Good order of the said intended
Penitentiary House to be stopped up on or without the condition of
setting out another Way or Ways in any other part or parts of the said
Lot A of the said Waste or of such other Lands to be purchased as aforesaid
