and at all Times thereafter be admitted and allowed in all Courts whasoever
as legal Evidence of the same.
And be it further Enacted, That from and immediately after the
Inrolment of any such Deed or Deeds, Writing or Writings, all and every
the Lands, Messuages, Tenements and Hereditaments therein mentioned
to be exchanged by the said Dean and Chapter, or by any other Bodies
Corporate or Collegiate, with the said William Markham and Thomas
Salter, their Heirs and Assigns, shall be vested in and settled upon, and
the same are hereby vested in and fettled upon the said William Markham
and Thomas Salter, their Heirs and Assigns, to the only Use and Behoof
of them and said William Markham and Thomas Salter, their Heirs
and Assigns, freed and absolutely exonerated and discharged of and
from all Estates, Claims and Demands whatsoever of the said Dean and
Chapter of Westminster, and their Successors, or any other Bodies Corpo-
rate or Collegiate making such Exchange as aforesaid, and their Successors;
and that all and every the Lands, Messuages, Tenements and Hereditaments
in and by any such Deed or Deeds, Writing or Writings as
aforesaid mentioned to be exchanged by the said William Markham and
Thomas Salter, their Heirs and Assigns, with the said Dean and Chapter
of the Collegiate Church of Saint Peter at Westminster, or with any other
Bodies Corporate or Collegiate, shall be vested in and settled upon such
Dean and Chapter, or Bodies Corporate or Collegiate, making such Exchange
with the said William Markham and Thomas Salter, their Heirs
and Assigns as aforesaid, and their successors, to such Uses, and upon such
Trusts, and with the fame Power and Privileges as are already declared
and subsisting of and concerning such Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments,
as they shall grant to and exchange with the said William
Markham and Thomas Salter their Heirs and Assigns, by virtue of and
in pursuance of this Act.
And be it further Enacted, That as soon as such Exchanges shall be
made by and between and the said Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate
Church of Saint Peter and Westminster, or by and between any other
Bodies Corporate or Collegiate, and the said William Markham and
Thomas Salter, their Heirs and Assigns, by virtue of and in pursuance
of this Act, it shall be lawful to and for the said Dean and
Chapter of the Colligiate Church of Saint Peter at Westminster, and their
Successors, and to and for all and every other such Bodies Corporate or
Collegiate as aforesaid, and their Successors, at any Time or Times within
the Space of Five Years, from and after the twenty-fourth Day of
June One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty-five, to make and grant
under their respective Common Seal or Common Seals unto the said
William Markham and Thomas Salter, their Executors, Administrators,
or Assigns, a Lease or Leases of all, every or any such Piece or Pieces
of Ground, Messuages, Tenements and Hereditaments, so granted or
to be granted to and hereby vested in and settled upon them the said
Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of Saint Peter at Westminster,
or to, in, and on every other such Bodies Corporate or Collegiate, in
exchange
